Hello, I’m Dr. Phyliciá Anderson and I’m delighted to announce that I am running for Place 5 on the Denton ISD School Board.
Denton has been a pillar of support for my family for more than 16 years. I have been fortunate to be both a teacher in Denton ISD and a mother of four children who attend schools in the district at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am eager to extend my service to the community, families, and educators within this school district.
As an educator with more than 13 years of experience in the classroom, I am passionate about the future of education, and I am committed to advocating for the success of educators and students in partnership with community members.
I am committed to encouraging meaningful conversations between the district, parents, and community leaders while creating opportunities to empower students (even the most marginalized among us) to be impactful contributors to their future.
I hope to earn your trust in knowing that I will keep the best interests of the Denton ISD community at heart and would be honored to have your support.
